Getting to Know our Cover Model: Stephanie Perry

As the oldest of four children in her family, Stephanie Perry is a natural born leader. She is perceptive, creative and enjoys all aspects of the arts. She spent her entire childhood painting, drawing, and doodling with an audience of Barbie Dolls, and at any given moment, would whip out her sketchbook to show you her fashion designs and real life drawings. She was passionate about art first and foremost, and then years down the road came her desire to storm out onto the runway.
Her first taste of being photographed was at Brackenridge Park in San Antonio, TX when a local photographer snapped a shot of her and her brother fishing in a pond. This photo appeared in "TX Monthly Magazine," and after seeing herself in print, she inflated dreams of posing for a living!
She enrolled in college right after high school (with a tackle box of art supplies) and was repeatedly at the top of her design and painting classes. She focused on the female form and the way fabric draped over the body in fashion design.
Stephanie took a job at an upscale French bistro in San Antonio and met her future fiancé, Chef Erick Abrams. She followed him on a journey that allowed her to travel to Madrid and Paris. She found that breathing in Parisian air was the most exhilarating and inspiring experience of her life. World travel is now right up at the top of the list of her passions. A future trip to Paris has been planned for early January 2007.
She is currently the face of Furarri Furs on El Paseo and a model in all of their runway shows and print ads, as well as a host for their store parties and events! Stephanie also belongs to AC Talent Agency in Los Angeles which is owned and operated by Anna Chudoba, who most recognize from the hit TV reality series, "The Average Joe." www.actalentagency.com
