Four Season Palm Beach

"I prefer to take my vacations lying down" written by Susan Leonard and Wayne Italiane

I now know why the rich and famous flock to the tantalizing Caribbean area of Boca/ Palm Beach Florida. The weather, water, and recreation are the perfect mix for vacationers. After a busy winter, and facing an over-committed summer, the sojourn to the Four Seasons was the master plan.

The children reveled in the activities offered by the “Kids for all Seasons” day camp available complimentary. Horizontally, on the beach or by their fabulous pool overlooking the ocean, I got up to speed on travel, fashion, and reading. The service was top-notch even on the sand. Our group was also able to get comfy in “The Living Room Lounge” where they have an ornate offering such as the exotic tapas tower as a starter, crisp sangria and a full menu delivered to the many fabulous sofas, classy bar, library or fireplace. No lobby bar will ever compare.

I also self-appointed myself judge of the best key lime pie, and confer with Bon Appetite Magazine’s opinion: the winner is The Old Key Lime House just minutes away from the Four Seasons by cab. The pie and the view were so fabulous, we found ourselves there three times. We were so thankful they rebuilt after their roof was blown off by Hurricane Wilma.

To top off the week, I resumed my favorite position, flat on my back for a facial and foot massage. I look forward to finding an excuse to get away to the semi-tropical breezes through the grand palms of the Four Seasons Palm Beach again. 2800 South Ocean Boulevard, Palm Beach, Florida, U.S.A. 33480 Tel. 1 (561) 582-2800 Fax. 1 (561) 547-1557
